Daniel Zelman is an American screenwriter, television producer and director. He graduated with a BFA from Harvard University in 1990 and an MFA from New York University Tisch School of the Arts in 1993.

Zelman co-created the FX series *Damages* (2007–2012) with Todd A. Kessler and Glenn Kessler, serving as executive producer and writer on all five seasons; the trio received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series for the pilot episode. He later co-created the Netflix series *Bloodline* (2015–2017) with the same collaborators. His film writing credits include *They Nest* (2000), *Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid* (2004) and *Fool's Gold* (2008).
