## Biography

Danny Jacobson is an American television writer and producer. He began his career as an actor, appearing on Broadway in *Grease* (1978) and in the soap opera *One Life to Live*, before moving into writing with credits on *Soap* (1977) and *My Sister Sam* (1986–1988).

He wrote for and served as supervising producer on *Roseanne* (1988–1990). Jacobson co-created *Mad About You* (1992) and *Two Guys and a Girl* (1998), and later contributed to *The Odd Couple* (2015). He also wrote the screenplay for the 2005 film *The Honeymooners*. He has received Primetime Emmy nominations.
