Danny McBride is an American actor, comedian, writer, director and producer. Born Daniel Richard McBride on 29 December 1976 in Statesboro, Georgia, he graduated with a BFA from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.

He created and starred as Kenny Powers in the HBO series *Eastbound & Down* (2009–2013), on which he also served as writer. He voiced Bomb in the film *The Angry Birds Movie* (2016). McBride has appeared in films including *Pineapple Express* (2008), *Tropic Thunder* (2008) and *This Is the End* (2013), and has frequently collaborated with director Jody Hill.
