## Biography

D’Arcy Carden is an American actress and comedian. Born Darcy Beth Erokan on 4 January 1980 in Danville, California, she is best known for portraying Janet in the NBC sitcom *The Good Place* (2016–2020) and Natalie Greer in the HBO series *Barry* (2018–2023). She has also appeared as Greta Gill in the Prime Video series *A League of Their Own* (2022) and as Gemma in *Broad City* (2014–2019).

Carden performed improvisational comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York and holds a BFA in Theatre from Southern Oregon University. Her film credits include *Bombshell* (2019) and *Shotgun Wedding* (2022). She received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for *The Good Place* and was nominated for Screen Actors Guild Awards as part of the ensemble casts of *Barry*.
