## Biography

D'Arcy Corrigan (2 January 1870 – 25 December 1945) was an Irish actor who appeared in more than fifty films between 1925 and 1945, frequently in small or uncredited roles.

Born in County Cork, he worked as a lawyer and private secretary to a member of Parliament before becoming a stock company leading man and later moving into film. His credited parts included the morgue keeper in *Murders in the Rue Morgue* (1932), the blind man in John Ford's *The Informer* (1935), and the Spirit of Christmas Future in *A Christmas Carol* (1938).

He died in Los Angeles on Christmas Day 1945, aged 75.
