Darío Moreno (born David Arugete) was a Turkish actor and singer. Born on 3 April 1921 in Smyrna (now Izmir), Ottoman Empire, he worked primarily in France during the 1950s and 1960s. He appeared in films including *The Wages of Fear* (1953), in which he played Pepito Hernandez, *Tintin and the Mystery of the Golden Fleece* (1961) as Midas Papos, and *Woman in Chains* (1968) as Sala.

Moreno was also a polyglot singer, composer, lyricist and guitarist. He achieved particular success with his 1961 song 'Brigitte Bardot'. He died on 1 December 1968 in Istanbul, Turkey.
