Darlene Hunt is an American actress, producer and television writer. She is from Lebanon Junction, Kentucky and attended Northwestern University.

Hunt created and produced the Showtime series *The Big C* (2010–2013). Her writing credits include episodes of *Will & Grace* (2002), *90210* (2008), *The Goldbergs* (2013) and *Dickinson* (2019), on which she also served as consulting producer. As an actress, she has appeared in the films *I Heart Huckabees* (2004) and *Idiocracy* (2006), and in television series including *Parks and Recreation* and *Suburgatory*.
