## Biography

Darryl Hammer is a production designer and art director. He has worked in film and television since 1993, progressing from a fine arts background through scenic painting and set decoration.

Hammer's credits include production design on *The Girl* (2012), for which he received a BAFTA Award for Best Production Design in 2013; *Black Butterflies* (2011), for which he won a SAFTA Award for Best Production Design; *Black Beauty* (2020); and *The Price of Sugar* (2013). He has also served as supervising art director on *24 Hours to Live* (2017) and *The Last Face* (2016), and as production designer on series including *Our Girl* (2017–2020) and *Stonehouse* (2023).

He grew up in South Africa and now resides in the United Kingdom.
