## Biography

Dave Metzger is a television writer. He began his career in the industry working as an assistant to film producer John Davis before joining *The Blacklist* (2013) as a writers' assistant in 2013.

Metzger progressed to staff writer and story writer on *The Blacklist*, contributing episodes from 2016 onwards. His other credits include staff writer and writer roles on *CSI: Vegas* (2021) and writing and executive story editor work on *Boston Blue* (2025). He also wrote, directed and composed lyrics for the 2007 short *Penguin: The Musical*.
