Dave Sheridan is an American actor, comedian, producer and writer. He was born on 10 March 1969 in Newark, Delaware.

He began his career as an intern at Saturday Night Live in the 1991–1992 season and later joined Chicago's Second City, where he wrote, directed and produced the multimedia stage show Dave Sheridan's America. He starred in the 1996 MTV series Buzzkill.

Sheridan is known for playing Special Officer Doofy in Scary Movie (2000) and for the role of Doug in Ghost World (2001). His other film credits include The Devil's Rejects (2005), Little Man (2006), Sex Drive (2008), Horrible Bosses (2011), A Haunted House (2013) and Fifty Shades of Black (2016).
