## Biography

David Allen Cress is a producer based in Portland, Oregon. He is a founding partner of the independent film production studio Food Chain Films and has worked extensively in film, television and documentary production.

His credits include producer on the series *Portlandia* (2011–2018) and *The Rehearsal* (2022), as well as *Paranoid Park* (2007) and *Shrill* (2019–2021). He has also produced episodes of *Documentary Now!* and served as field producer on *Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck* (2015).

Cress has received five Primetime Emmy nominations. He has contributed to the Oregon film community through his production work and collaborations with directors including Gus Van Sant.
