## Biography

David Azcano is a Spanish cinematographer. Born on 28 April 1971 in Madrid, he began working on short films and television series in the 1990s before progressing to feature films and larger-scale productions.

He is credited as cinematographer on the Netflix series *Money Heist* (2017–), having served as second unit cinematographer in 2017 and later on 21 episodes from 2019 to 2021. Other notable credits include *Sky Rojo* (2021), *Bosé* (2022), *From Tomorrow* (2024), *The Valdemar Legacy II: The Forbidden Shadow* (2010) and *Sidetracked* (2015). Azcano won the Silver Biznaga for Best Cinematography at the Málaga Spanish Film Festival for *Concursante* (2007) and the Iris Award for Best Cinematography and Lighting for the series *Isabel* (2015).
