David Babcock is an American television writer and producer. He has written episodes for series including *Gilmore Girls* (2000), for which he contributed four scripts in season seven and served as consulting producer, *Sabrina, the Teenage Witch* (1996), *Dharma & Greg* (1997), *Hart of Dixie* (2011), *Brothers & Sisters* (2006), *Reign* (2013) and *Feed the Beast* (2016).

Babcock has also held producing roles on numerous shows, such as co-executive producer on *Reaper* (2007), *Privileged* (2008) and *Melrose Place* (2009), and executive producer on *Twisted* (2013). He created the series *The Kicks* (2015).
