David McCoy Barrett is an American television director and producer. He began his career as a stuntman before working as a stunt coordinator and second unit director.

Barrett co-created the CW series *The Mountain* (2004). He has directed episodes of numerous series including *Veronica Mars* (2004), *Smallville* (2001), *Supernatural* (2005), *The Mentalist* (2008), *The Vampire Diaries* (2009), *Castle* (2009), *Arrow* (2012), *Once Upon a Time* (2011), *Under the Dome* (2013) and *Fear the Walking Dead* (2015). He directed the feature film *Fire with Fire* (2012) and has had a long association with *Blue Bloods* (2010) as director and co-executive producer.
