## Biography

David Bergeaud is a French composer of film, television and video game scores. Born in Paris in 1968, he began musical studies at the age of five and trained at a classical conservatory before moving to Los Angeles to work in jazz and electronic music.

He composed the score for the documentary *Aileen Wuornos: The Selling of a Serial Killer* (1992). Bergeaud is known for his work on the *Ratchet & Clank* video game series, the documentaries *Kurt & Courtney* (1998) and *Grizzly Man* (2005), and films including *The Unnamable* (1988), *Prince Valiant* (1997), *The Badge* (2002) and *Hangman's Curse* (2003). He has also contributed additional music to projects by directors such as Ang Lee and Walter Salles.

Bergeaud received BMI Film Music Awards for the television series *Strong Medicine*.
