David Blackburn is a British film editor. He was born on 1 August 1967 in London and attended art school in the UK before moving to Los Angeles.

Blackburn has edited feature films including *Torque* (2004), *Detention* (2011) and *Beats* (2019). His television credits include episodes of *Dark Matter* (2024), *Swagger* (2021) and *BMF* (2023). He has also edited music videos and commercials.

He won the MVPA Best Editing Award in 2005 for the Blink-182 video "Always" and an AICE Award in 2011 for an Adidas campaign.
