David Bolen is a Canadian cinematographer based in Los Angeles. He graduated from the University of Southern California film school in 2013 and is a member of the International Cinematographers Guild (IATSE Local 600).

Bolen has worked on feature films including *Soni* (2018), *1BR* (2019), *Gone in the Night* (2022), *Thelma* (2024), *Primetime* (2026) and *You Can See Everything* (2026). His documentary credits include *Some Kind of Heaven* (2020), *Spermworld* (2024) and several episodes of Netflix series such as *Untold* and *Delhi Crime*. He has also shot music videos for artists including Camila Cabello, Lil Nas X and Kendrick Lamar.

He received a Daytime Emmy nomination for outstanding cinematography on *Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones* (2023) and other nominations for his work on music videos and short documentaries.
