## Biography

David Chow (1929–2007) was a Canadian actor, martial arts consultant and producer. Born in Toronto, he graduated from the University of Southern California with a master's degree in economics and was a former California state judo champion and 'Mr Hong Kong'.

Chow appeared in films including *Conquest of the Planet of the Apes* (1972) as Aldo, *White of the Eye* (1987) as Fred Hoy and *Vietnam, Texas* (1990) as Minh. His television credits include a role in *Bonanza* and work as a technical advisor and additional crew member on the series *Kung Fu* (1972–1974). He also worked as a photographer and economist.
