David Crowther is an American film editor. Born on 12 December 1970 in Flint, Michigan, he began working in post-production in the late 1980s.

He is credited as editor on *Alien³* (1992). Crowther has also worked as first assistant editor on *Dante's Peak* (1997) and *Arlington Road* (1999), and as assistant editor on *Forget Paris* (1995). He has edited numerous making-of documentaries and other projects, including for the *Alien* franchise.
