David Fairhead is a British film and television editor. He edited the BBC2 satirical series *The Day Today* (1994).

Fairhead has worked extensively on documentaries. His editing credits include *Mission Control: The Unsung Heroes of Apollo* (2017), *Spitfire* (2018), *Missing: The Lucie Blackman Case* (2023) and *Lancaster* (2022). He has also directed several of these films, including *Mission Control* and co-directing *Spitfire*.
