## Biography

David Fialkow is a film producer and co-founder and managing director of the venture capital firm General Catalyst. Born on 18 October 1958 in Boston, Massachusetts, he graduated from Colgate University with a BFA in film and from Boston College Law School.

He produced the documentary *Icarus* (2017), which won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. Fialkow has served as executive producer on numerous other documentaries, including *Beyond Utopia* (2023), *American Symphony* (2023) and *Sugarcane* (2024). He is a member of Impact Partners, a film funding group focused on social justice themes.
