David Franklin is an Australian actor. He was born on 7 May 1962 in Fremantle, Western Australia.

Franklin began his career in Australian television and film in the late 1970s. His early film credit includes the role of Horace in *My Brilliant Career* (1979). He is known for recurring television roles as Meeklo Braca in *Farscape* (1999–2003) and its miniseries continuation *Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars* (2004), and as Brutus in *Xena: Warrior Princess* (1995). Other credits include *The Matrix Reloaded* (2003) as the Maitre D', *The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course* (2002) and later appearances in *The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart* (2023) and *Reef Break* (2019).
