David Goetsch is a television writer and producer, also credited as Dave Goetsch. He contributed to *The Big Bang Theory* (2007–2019) as a writer of stories, teleplays and episodes, and rose through producing ranks to co-executive producer and executive producer across 278 episodes.

Earlier in his career he wrote for and produced *3rd Rock from the Sun* (1996–2001). He co-created the series *United States of Al* (2021–2022) and has written for *Bob Hearts Abishola* (2019–2021) and *That '90s Show* (2024). He has received Primetime Emmy nominations for his work.
