Holmes played Cody Miller in the first episode of the Netflix series *Mindhunter* (2017). His other television credits include recurring roles as Simon Miller in *High Fidelity* (2020) and Nick Fuchs in *The Penguin* (2024), as well as guest appearances in *Mr. Robot* (2015), *The Americans* (2013), *Billions* (2016–2023), *The Tick* (2016–2019) and *Law & Order: Special Victims Unit* (2013). Film roles include parts in *Josie & Jack* (2019) and an uncredited appearance in *A Complete Unknown* (2024). He has also worked as a producer and director.
