David Helfand is a television editor and producer. He edited 40 episodes of the series *Friends* (1995–2001) and served as associate producer on 26 episodes (1996–1997). He has also edited episodes of *Weeds* (2005–2012) and *Young Sheldon* (2017–2024), later working as co-producer on the latter from 2019.

Helfand received three Primetime Emmy nominations for single-camera picture editing on comedy series, including nominations for *Weeds* and *That '70s Show*.
