David Higgs is a British cinematographer and member of the British Society of Cinematographers. He has worked as director of photography on numerous feature films and television series.

His credits include *RocknRolla* (2008), *Red Riding: The Year of Our Lord 1983* (2009), *St Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold* (2009), *Lesbian Vampire Killers* (2009), *Churchill* (2017), *His Dark Materials* (2019) and *Shadow and Bone* (2021). He served as second unit director of photography on *Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows* (2011) and as director of photography on *Outlander* (2014).

Higgs won a BAFTA Television Craft Award for Best Photography & Lighting Fiction for *Red Riding 1983* in 2010.
