## Biography

David Holmes is a Northern Irish composer, musician and producer. Born in Belfast in 1969, he began his career as a DJ and electronic musician before moving into film and television scoring in the late 1990s.

He composed the score for the BBC series *London Spy* (2015) with Keefus Ciancia, for which they received an Ivor Novello Award. Holmes is also known for his work on the film *Mindhorn* (2016) and for long-running collaborations with director Steven Soderbergh on films including *Out of Sight* (1998) and the Ocean’s trilogy.

His other credits include scores for *The Fall* (2013–2016), *’71* (2014), *Killing Eve* (2018–2022) and *Logan Lucky* (2017). He has won multiple awards, including Ivor Novello Awards and an IFTA for best score.
