David Hoskins is a television writer. He contributed ten episodes to the crime drama series *Midsomer Murders* between 2001 and 2011, and wrote or co-wrote around twenty-five episodes of *The Bill* from 1990 to 2000.

His earlier credits include an episode of the children's series *Spooky* in 1983. Hoskins has also written articles and short stories for magazines and newspapers.
