## Biography

David J. Miller is an American cinematographer. He has worked extensively in television, serving as director of photography on series including *The Good Place* (2016–2020), *Veep* (2017–2019), *The Newsroom* (2014), *Scorpion* (2014), *Desperate Housewives* (2004) and *The Lincoln Lawyer* (2022).

Miller won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series for his work on *Veep*. He has also contributed as a producer on several projects and directed episodes of *Mr. Mayor* (2021–2022) and *Sunnyside* (2019). His career in camera and electrical departments dates back to the 1980s.
