## Biography

David J. North is an American television writer and producer. He graduated from Indiana University in 2003 and joined the support staff of the newly launched series *NCIS* that year. He moved to the writing staff in 2005 and contributed numerous episodes, including teleplays and stories, before leaving after the season six finale.

North later wrote for *Rizzoli & Isles* and *Scorpion*, and contributed to *NCIS: Los Angeles*. He returned to *NCIS* as an executive producer and co-showrunner in season 14, and co-created the prequel series *NCIS: Origins* (2024) with Gina Lucita Monreal, serving as its showrunner.
