## Biography

David Klotz is an American composer and music editor. He graduated from Emerson College in 1994 and has worked extensively in film and television music.

As a music editor, he has contributed to series including *Stranger Things*, *Game of Thrones* and *American Horror Story*, winning eight Primetime Emmy Awards for his editorial work. His composing credits include the score for the Netflix film *The Prom* (2020, co-composed with Matthew Sklar), episodes of *American Horror Stories* (2021–2024), *The Watcher* (2022, co-composed with Morgan Kibby), *American Sports Story* (2024) and the series *All's Fair* (2025, co-composed with Morgan Kibby). He is credited as composer on the 2026 series *The Shards*.

Klotz formed the band Fonda in the 1990s and the synth-based project DREAM SYSTEM 8 in 2016. He has also written and performed songs for film and television, including a cover of "The NeverEnding Story" for *Stranger Things*.
