## Biography

David L. Bushell is an American film producer and production manager. He produced Billy Bob Thornton’s *Sling Blade* (1996) alongside Larry Meistrich and Brandon Rosser, and was associated with the independent production company The Shooting Gallery during the 1990s.

Bushell’s subsequent credits include producing or executive producing *The Minus Man* (1999), *The Banger Sisters* (2002), *Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind* (2004), *Get Him to the Greek* (2010) and *Dallas Buyers Club* (2013). He has also worked as a unit production manager on several of these films.

In addition to producing, Bushell has directed the short film *Jim Carrey: I Needed Color* (2017) and the documentary *Cheech & Chong’s Last Movie* (2024).
