David Landau was an American stage and film actor. Born David Magee (also credited under that name) in Philadelphia, he appeared on Broadway in twelve plays between 1919 and 1929 before making his screen debut in 1931.

He appeared in thirty-three films between 1931 and 1935, often in supporting roles. Among his credits are *Street Scene* (1931), *Arrowsmith* (1931), *Horse Feathers* (1932), *I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang* (1932) and *She Done Him Wrong* (1933). He suffered a stroke in 1934 and died the following year.
