David Leisure is an American actor. He was born in San Diego, California, on 16 November 1950 and attended Grossmont High School, Grossmont College and San Diego State University.

Leisure is known for his role as Charley Dietz in the sitcom *Empty Nest* (1988–1995) and for portraying the fictional car salesman Joe Isuzu in a series of Isuzu television commercials (1986–1990 and 1999–2001). His film credits include *Airplane!* (1980) as the First Krishna and *10 Things I Hate About You* (1999) as Mr. Chapin. He has also appeared in episodes of *The Golden Girls*, *Married... with Children*, *ALF*, *Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman* and *Sabrina, the Teenage Witch*.
