## Biography

David Mar Stefansson is an Icelandic screenwriter and producer. Born in Lund, Sweden, he grew up in Reykjavík and began his career as a journalist for Morgunblaðið. He holds a BA in philosophy and creative writing from the University of Iceland and an MFA in screenwriting from Columbia University.

Stefansson made his television debut writing four episodes of the Netflix miniseries *Katla* (2021). He subsequently wrote for the third season of *Trapped* (2022). His credits also include an episode of the third season of *Gangs of London* (2025) and two episodes of the historical miniseries *King & Conqueror* (2025), on which he also served as associate producer.
