## Biography

David McMillan is a writer and producer working in television, film and theatre. He wrote episodes of the Netflix limited series *DAHMER – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story* (2022) and served as supervising producer; the series earned him a BAFTA TV Award for Best International Programme and an Emmy nomination.

His other television writing credits include episodes of *Lucifer* (2016), *Sleepy Hollow* (2014) and *Dexter: New Blood* (2021). He is executive producer and writer on the second season of the *Monster* anthology, *Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story* (2024). McMillan studied English at Yale University and holds an MFA in Production from the University of Southern California, where he won the Jack Nicholson Screenwriting Prize. His play *Watching O.J.* (2015) received a Stage Raw Award for Best Achievement in Playwriting.
