David McNally is a British-Canadian director of film and television. Born in 1960 in England, he grew up in Montreal, Quebec, and later moved to Los Angeles.

He began his career directing music videos and commercials, including a notable Budweiser advertisement featuring a lobster that aired during Super Bowl XXXIII. McNally made his feature directorial debut with *Coyote Ugly* (2000). He followed this with *Kangaroo Jack* (2003) and co-created the short-lived television series *Justice* (2006), on which he also served as writer and executive producer.
