David O'Neill is a British television director. He has directed episodes of several long-running drama series, including *Call the Midwife* (from 2019), *Death in Paradise* (2013–2015), *Grantchester* (2016), *Roman Empire* (2018), *Lewis* (2012), *Casualty* (2007–2011) and *Law & Order: UK* (2011).

Earlier credits include the short film *Tenner* (2008), for which he received a win and a nomination, and episodes of *Doctors* (2006–2007). He has also directed the television films *Lord Lucan: My Husband, the Truth* (2017) and *The Body in the Bag* (2022), as well as episodes of *Spy Wars* (2019) and *James Patterson's Murder Is Forever* (2018).
