David Orrick McDearmon was an American television director and actor. He was born on 27 February 1914 in Wilmette, Illinois, and died on 18 August 1979 in Los Angeles, California. He began his career as a character actor in the early 1950s, appearing under the name David Orrick in series such as *Alfred Hitchcock Presents* and films including *Blackjack Ketchum, Desperado* (1956).

McDearmon transitioned to directing in the late 1950s. His credits include multiple episodes of *Peter Gunn* (1958–1959), three episodes of *The Twilight Zone* (1960–1961), episodes of *Bewitched* (1965), *Gilligan's Island* (1967) and *That Girl* (1966).
