## Biography

David Perry was a British costume designer. Born in 1945 in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, he worked in film and television from the late 1970s until the mid-1990s.

He received credit as assistant costume designer on *Flash Gordon* (1980) and costume co-ordinator on *The Draughtsman's Contract* (1982) and *Shock Treatment* (1981). He later designed costumes for *Lady Jane* (1986), *Absolute Beginners* (1986), *Bellman and True* (1987), *Reunion* (1989) and, with Bob Ringwood, *Alien³* (1992). His final credited work was the television film *Good King Wenceslas* (1994). He died in 1995.
