David Phillips is a television writer and producer. He contributed to *Rick and Morty* in 2015 as a writer and story editor, and worked on *Brooklyn Nine-Nine* from 2014 to 2021 as a writer, story editor and executive story editor.

He has also written episodes of *Robot Chicken* (2014) and *The UCB Show* (2017). Phillips later served as a writer and producer on *The Sex Lives of College Girls*, *Grand Crew* and *Running Point*.
