David Ronn is a writer and producer. He began his career in television, working on the sitcom *Spin City* from 1997 to 2000 alongside writing partner Jay Scherick, where he contributed as a writer, story editor and producer.

Ronn's film credits include the screenplays for *National Security* (2003), *I Spy* (2002), *Guess Who* (2005), *Norbit* (2007, co-written with Eddie Murphy and Charlie Murphy), *The Smurfs* (2011), *Zookeeper* (2011), *The Smurfs 2* (2013), *Baywatch* (2017) and *Clifford the Big Red Dog* (2021). He received Razzie Award nominations for worst screenplay for *Norbit* and *Baywatch*. He has been married to Rachel Jacobs since 2004 and they have two children.
