David Rysdahl is an American actor and screenwriter. Born on 2 April 1987 in New Ulm, Minnesota, he was educated at St Olaf College. He began his career in short films and stage productions before appearing in feature films and television series from the mid-2010s.

Rysdahl is known for his main role as Wayne Lyon in the fifth season of the FX series *Fargo* (2023–2024), his performance as Donald Hornig in the film *Oppenheimer* (2023), and starring roles in the films *Nine Days* (2020) and *No Exit* (2022). He played Arthur Sylvia in the FX series *Alien: Earth* (2025). Other credits include an episode of *Black Mirror* (2023) and the film *Dead Pigs* (2018). He has also worked as a screenwriter and producer.

Rysdahl has been married to actress Zazie Beetz since 2023.
