## Biography

David Sant is a Spanish-born director and former actor. He was born in Catalonia in 1968 and moved to the United Kingdom in the early 1990s.

Before directing for television he worked as a mime artist, acrobat, puppeteer and stunt performer, and directed physical theatre productions, winning awards at international festivals. He is a founder member of the company Peepolykus.

Sant began directing television comedy in the mid-2000s. His credits include episodes of *Jonathan Creek* (2014), *Benidorm* (2014–2018), *Home* (2019–2020) and *Man Like Mobeen*.
