## Biography

David Webb is a British film and television editor and managing director at Final Cut Ltd. He began his career in the early 2000s editing music videos, including work with Edgar Wright, before spending a decade on commercials.

Webb moved into long-form projects at the request of director Jim Field-Smith, collaborating on *The Wrong Mans* (2013) and subsequent series including *Endeavour*, *Criminal: UK* and *Truth Seekers* (2020). He has worked extensively with director Ben Taylor, editing multiple episodes of *Sex Education* (2019–2021) alongside Steve Ackroyd and Phil Hignett.

Further credits include *Hijack* (2023), *The Gentlemen* (2024) and the feature film *JOY* (2024). He has received Music + Sound Awards for best sync scene on *Sex Education*.
