## Biography

David Weston is an English actor. He graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 1961, having won the Silver Medal for that year, and was a founder member of the National Youth Theatre alongside Michael Croft.

His film roles include Brother John in *Becket* (1964), Gino in *The Masque of the Red Death* (1964), Arne in *The Heroes of Telemark* (1965) and Murphy in *Von Richthofen and Brown* (1971). On television he has appeared in *UFO* (1970) and *Lovejoy* (1986). He has performed in numerous stage productions, including twenty-seven plays in Shakespeare's canon, and has directed for the National Youth Theatre and other London theatres. He has also written and narrated non-fiction audio books.
