## Biography

David Willson is a production designer and art director. He began working in film and television in the late 1970s as a construction coordinator on productions including *First Blood* (1982) and *Timecop* (1994). He advanced to art director on films such as *The Stepfather* (1987), *Jumanji* (1995) and *Narrow Margin* (1990).

Willson has worked extensively in television as a production designer. His credits include *Smallville* (2002–2006), on which he also served as producer and received three Leo Awards; *Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist* (2020–2021); *Animal Control* (2023–2026); and the 2026 revival series *Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair*.
