## Biography

David Zellner is an American film director, screenwriter and actor. He was born in Greeley, Colorado, and is based in Austin, Texas.

He frequently collaborates with his younger brother Nathan Zellner under the name Zellner Bros. Zellner studied at the University of Texas film school and has directed independent features including *Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter* (2014), *Damsel* (2018) and *Sasquatch Sunset* (2024).

He directed three episodes of the series *The Curse* (2023) and has appeared as an actor in films such as *Ain't Them Bodies Saints* (2013), *Faults* (2014) and *The Art of Self-Defense* (2019).
