## Biography

Davis Coombe is an American documentary film editor, writer, producer and director. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Coombe edited *The Social Dilemma* (2020), for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award, *Casting JonBenet* (2017), *Chasing Coral* (2017), *Chasing Ice* (2012) and the short *Saving Face* (2012), which earned him another Emmy. He also wrote and edited *A LEGO Brickumentary* (2014). He served as co-editor on *The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist* (2026).

Born in Denver, Colorado, Coombe has worked on numerous documentaries since the late 1990s.
