## Biography

Dawn Urbont is an American television writer and producer. Born in 1972, she graduated from Dartmouth College and began her career writing for sitcoms including *California Dreams* (1996) and *Spin City* (2000), where she served as story editor.

She wrote for the miniseries *Miracle's Boys* (2005) and contributed an episode to *One Tree Hill* (2007), on which she also worked as co-producer. Urbont later wrote four episodes of *Lincoln Heights* (2007–2009) and held producing roles including co-executive producer and supervising producer on the series. She has been married to writer and producer Matt Corman since 2004.
